Chaple Hill from the North

Chapel Hill (90m) is a key feature in the parish, with a striking copse sitting over the top. It would be interesting to know of the origin of the name. The Photo was taken from higher ground to the north, close to Roundhill Cottages. The land around it is drained by several of the tributaries of Lowley Brook. Greystone Moor Plantation lies to the left of the hill. There are likley to be some interesting wetland habits to explore if we can get permission.
