Stoke Climsland

The Mid-Tamar Group are an existing wildlife group based in Stoke Climsland and are very active, with meetings based at the Old School, Stoke Climsland (SX360 745).

Regular meetings for a local walk or coffee & a chat take place on the first Tuesday in each month at 10am. And in addition, specific events are run, often in conjunction with other local or focus groups ~ these will usually be featured on the events listings on the home page of this web site as well as forming part of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust programme.

ALL ARE WELCOME, most meetings are free of charge although occasionally there is a small admission charge or request for donations.

There is great interest in local habitats and the diversity of wildlife around the area but as a Parish, their species records do not form part of our LAPWG database. Individual recorders send to the Records Centre at Allet or use ERICA.

Plants, moths and local landscape history, ecology & conservation are the main interests.
