Related to the Garden Cross Spider, I have previously associated Quadratus with wetland, but according to Wikipedia, it is found in a wide range of habitat, including gardens. It is possible that this one came in to the conservatory via my rucksack after a visit to wetland.
This specimen does not show the four spots it takes its name from, so I may be corrected.
