Tresmeer Parish is bounded by Tremaine Parish to the north, Egloskerry Parish to the East, Laneast Parish to the south and Treneglos parish to the west.
The ridge road between the Kensey and Ottery valleys divides the area and there are an abundant quiet minor roads and several footpaths that give access to the whole area. The old railway is not available without special permission to small sections of it.
The land varies only between 250m and 180m above sea level, but there are some significant hill tops and steep-sided sections to the river valley. The river Kensey leaves Tresmeer parish at 135m above sea level
There are many hamlets where it is hoped that we can find members to keep Wildlife Diaries and build up a good record of the wildlife and habitat and how this changes with time. We already have members focussed in the hamlets of Tresmeer, Splatt, Lanzion..........
