Open moorland between Ridge and Fox Tor, with Nine-stones stone circle just visible in the top green patch! This is a regular place to find Golden Plover in the winter months, though in small numbers, now as global warming plays its part. Skylark and Meadow Pipit dominate the landscape. If you are lucky, you may also hear a Cuckoo.
