Big Butterfly Count: 24th July to 1st August

This is a new national survey designed along similar lines to the Garden Bird Survey. The website www.bigbutterflycount.org provides a simple ID sheet of the more common species and a recording form that you can download & print out. More ID info for less common species are online.

Records have to be returned online but if any of our members would like to do this, please send me your results as well and I'll make up a list of what we saw in our area during the week. Jen B: peteandjen@tinyworld.co.uk
