National Moth Nights 2012

While investigating the oil beetle survey pages, I found information about the national moth nights for this year which are from 21st to the 23rd June.

The focus is on 'brownfield' sites such as old quarries (we have those) or gravel/clay workings. Abandoned coal mines are also listed but we don't have any of those.

If we could organise some lamps and various permissions, there is the quarry on Kit Hill. Also stone quarries at Bearah & Hawks Tor. Also wonderd about some of the mining sites like Phoenix where the Caradon Hill Area Heritage Project might be able to organise something.

Any one have any other ideas?
