Event Leader:
Mary Atkinson for the moths; Pete or Carol for the walk and Jen for the (possible) dormice!
Meeting:
Treovis Cross Farm SX279 739. Turn off the B3254 about a quarter of a mile before you get to North Darley

We have been invited back to Dave & Carol's farm (thank you both) just above Treovis to hold another moth recording session so the plan will be for Mary and Tony to set up on the Saturday evening and then we join them at about 8:30am to open up the trap and view the 'catch'. For those who have missed their breakfasts, Carol is offering to make toast etc!

And there will be tea, coffee and cake of course.

Then if the weather is fine, we thought that we would lead a walk up through the woods to Notter Tor and in the mean time, Jen is happy for a few people to observe the checking of some of the dormouse boxes and we can undertake some nut-hunting.

If you are travelling from the north (Launceston) then the turning up to the farm will be on your right and is opposite the road down to Stara Woods.  The farm gate will be on your left a few yards up the road.

If you would like to join Mary & Tony on the Saturday evening to help catch the moths, then please contact Mary so she knows.

IF THE WEATHER IS BAD, WE WILL TRY AGAIN ON THE SUNDAY NIGHT/MONDAY MORNING

Equipment & Booking:
Dress for the weather, you never know with September! Walking boots, camera/phone, note book, binoculars. Book on fungi might be useful.
